"Animals are my inspiration. Wild, domestic, large or small, I try to capture their forms and gestures using clay and bronze as well as paint.  An animal cannot hide itself. As each one moves and breathes it reveals its innermost self."

Kathe Umlauf is an award-winning artist who has work in private and public collections including those of The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, The Erie Art Museum, The Erie Zoo, the Harrisburg Area Community College, The Franklin Mint, Saint Vincent Hospital and ARCO Chemical Company.
